Our annual Photo Contest was started in 2006 in honor of Past President and hybridizer Betty Miller. She had a passion for photographing daylilies and mentored several CVIDS members on how to take good photos. Her photos were featured in “Eureka” and daylily catalogs from 2001-2004.

The 2019 rules are as follows. Send your photos to: Mary Jo Duffy, 2630 Newport Rd NE, Iowa City, IA 52240. Submission deadline: Entries must be postmarked no later than October 30th. No additional fancy modifications (e.g. framing) may be made to the photo, but cropping and centering are allowed. Size to be submitted is a printed 4”x 6” photo. Please label photos with: Name, Category and Direction (arrow up) for display orientation. There is a maximum of 2 entries per category per person.
